Intelligent Catflaps?

A New Zealand based company is looking for UK distributors for a new cat door which is suitable for fitting into glass panels and patio doors. According to Jim McNaught, M.D. of Glaztec International the new style pet door has taken 31% of the New Zealand Australian market since its introduction early this year in competition with Catmate and Staywell. The product is currently being launched in Canada and Italy. The company is also in the process of developing an advanced electronic door. The new generation of electronic doors will employ a technology which will allow the owner’s cat only to be identified for entry, preventing entry of other cats dogs, or animals.
