PETS Scheme Extension |
An official announcement is expected from Ministers today of an
extension to the PETS scheme which allows dogs and cats that have been
microchipped, vaccinated and tested for rabies to be brought into
Britain without quarantine.
The scheme which has been confined to pets travelling from Western Europe, is expected to be extended to rabies-free islands including Australia, Japan and Cyprus. The changes are likely to take effect in the New Year. See BBC Report |
