Following yesterday's announcement on PETS, the 15 rabies-free islands to be included in the Pet Travel Scheme are:

Ascension Island,
Australia,
Barbados, Bermuda,
Cyprus,
Falkland Islands,
Hawaii,
Japan,
Malta, Montserrat,
New Caledonia, New Zealand,
St Helena, Singapore,
Vanuatu.

Other islands may well be added to the list later.

The 22 countries currently taking part in the scheme are:

Andorra, Austria,
Belgium,
Denmark,
Finland, France,
Germany, Gibraltar, Greece,
Iceland, Italy,
Liechtenstein, Luxembourg,
Monaco,
Netherlands, Norway,
Portugal,
San Marino, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland
and the Vatican.
