CAPS Plans Action Against Zoos

The Captive Animals Protection Society (CAPS) is planning a day of protest against UK zoos to take place on the 28th August. The society is trying to rally support from people with zoos in their area to arrange protest and leafleting sessions at the zoo on the busy bank holiday. Last year, protests were held outside 13 zoos and safari parks. Demonstrators dressed up in animal costumes and handed out leaflets to zoo visitors.
