PBWNews Back on the Stands |
Pet Business World (PBWNews), the industry fortnightly newspaper which was suspended
from publication, has gone to press and will be back on the stands in
time for GLEE 2000, (The International Garden and Leisure Exhibition), in Birmingham
this weekend.
Following the late announcement last month that PBWNews had been taken over from The Dog World by the Holcot Press publishing house, the paper's editor Serena Nurse said at the time that they would be contacting advertisers and that the publication would be up and running again in time for the exhibition. According to assistant editor Hayley Stamp, this issue, the first under their new ownership, retains the original format and carries extended copy to make up for the missed publication in August. To coincide with Birmingham, features are to include special coverage of pond pumps and filters and wild bird feeders. Ms Stamp said: "Considering the early upheaval, we have had a smooth transition to Holcot Press.. I am already working on the next issue." This is a marked move into niche market publishing for Holcot Press which until now has specialised in wider international business markets. PBWNews will be appearing at stand G57 at the Glee Exhibition which runs from 17th -19th September. Subscribers to the paper can expect their copy in the post very soon.
