GiveUsAHome Finds New Digs

The strange happy/sad story of the Giveusahome re-homing web site took a new turn recently when it was taken over by Any Problem Ltd which runs the search and query web-site AnyProblem.com.

Giveusahome which was started up by Newcastle Upon Tyne father and son team Irving Graham and Irving jr. achieved widespread coverage in the UK media after a tenacious effort by Irving Sr. to promote his son's cause for the re-homing of unwanted dogs.

The homepage as it was at the time, was picked up and sponsored by the retail giant Pets At Home.

The site has been re-designed a number of times gradually easing in a professional feel to its home-made look.

With the sponsorship of Pets At Home Irving went on to win the Linda McCartney Award for Animal Welfare which was presented to him by Robbie Williams at the Mirror Pride of Britain Awards ceremony at the London Hilton.

Talking about the Giveusahome take over, Peter Savage of AnyProblem.com said:

"Mr. Graham reached the point with Giveusahome whereby the supply, updates and financial pressure, was becoming unrealistic for one body. As you may be aware a considerable expense is ploughed into this site to help rehome animals, ie the supply of cameras to all the shelters".

"We have therefore become involved in the site with Mr Graham to ease the pressure and to 'push the site on' as the demand for it is incredible".

"A major tv station has approached the site for a second round update of which we are putting together some information at the moment".

"On top of this our main company AnyProblem.com is shortly to undergo other tv and media advertisement. This in turn will have direct links to Giveusahome, within the animal section".
