Discover Dogs At Risk This Weekend

The Discover Dogs Exhibition is being held at Earls Court 2 in London this weekend and campaigners will be out in force with the backing of the Kennel Club.

Of note to those following the Dog Holocaust story (see past articles: 10 October; 14 August; 13 July; ) is that campaigners will have a stand at the show for both days (Saturday & Sunday) under the banner "Dogs At Risk in Europe" (DARE).

According to organiser David Levy:

"A great deal of effort has been made by many, many people to ensure that the right image is presented to the public attending the KC's Discover Dogs exhibition and to inform them of the risks to our dogs across Europe."

".. this is not about individuals or even individual dogs but about persuading politicians, media and the public that breed specific laws just don't work."

The DARE stand has been donated by the Kennel Club who have also made a substantial donation towards the cost of campaign leaflets.
