Ernst & Young Called In To Premium Petcare |
Following a long period of rumour over the future of Premium Petcare Limited,
the mail-order company which operated the well known
Animail
&
Petspyjamas
on-line pet retail sites, Scott Martin and Andrew Wollaston of Ernst & Young
were appointed joint administrators of the company this week.
Trading has been temporarily suspended whilst a buyer is sought for the business. No further orders are being taken at the present time. The Vet Info site Vetstream plc which provided content to the Petspyjamas site is at pains to point out that it does not come under this administration. Vetstream is a separate entity and has been in detailed discussions with a number of multinational businesses in recent weeks, one of which is in the final stages of completing the acquisition of Vetstream. The identity of the buyer is being kept confidential at this stage. All staff working on the Petspyjamas site were made redundant at the begining of the week. Anyone interested in purchasing Premium Petcare assets or the business should contact Manu Mistry at Ernst & Young on 0161 333 2734. |
