KC Wins Investors In People Award

The Communications and Customer Services team at The Kennel Club, (KC) in Gatehouse Way, Aylesbury, have cause to celebrate this week as their commitment to staff training and development has earned them accreditation to the prestigious Investors in People National Standard.

Local MP David Lidington presented Diane Farrell at the Kennel Club with a plaque to mark their achievement and joined staff and guests at a reception to reward their success.

Investors in People is designed to recognise organisations which make a commitment to continuously train and develop all employees to meet the business objectives.

The aim is to produce a more motivated and productive workforce, who understand where the business is going and how their own activities contribute to the firm's success.

The Kennel Club was supported in its efforts to gain Investors in People recognition by Business Link Thames Valley.

Business Link's Investors in People Team Leader, Richard Simpson, said:

"We are thrilled that The Kennel Club has been recognised as an Investor in People. The feedback we received from our assessor showed very clearly that this is a company which really believes in a team culture – everyone interviewed was extremely enthusiastic about their role and the company as a whole".
