10,000th KC Litter Online

10,000 pedigree puppy litters registered online in one year. In 2006, the Kennel Club, (KC) launched an online litter registration service in a bid to speed up processing time. A year later the Club has announced the 10,000th online litter registration.

The scheme was created to make it easier for breeders to register new pups.

Mrs O'Connell & Mr Thompson, the breeders of the 10,000th online litter, commented:

"We registered our nine Golden Retriever puppies on the Kennel Club website in November as we didn’t want to get caught up with the Christmas post. We were a bit concerned the system would be too complicated to use but it turned out to be simple, efficient and very easy to do."

Caroline Kisko, KC Secretary said:

"The scheme has really taken off in 2007. We have had such a positive response from breeders who have found online registration to be much more effective."
