British Equestrian Trade Association At NEC

Retail buyers from the equestrian and pet markets will begin arriving at the National Exhibition Centre, (NEC) in Birmingham on Sunday morning for the British Equestrian Trade Association, (BETA International) Trade Fare, (17-19 Feb.), to meet 400 companies from over 20 countries who will be exhibiting their products.

Strictly for the trade, pre-registered trade visitors will have free access to a new product gallery and animal nutrition centre, to a fashion show event and to the horse demonstrations arena.

According to BETA just over 2 million people ride at least once a month, with a total British equine population of over 1.3 million. In a recent survey by the Association, more than 90% of respondents believed that the 'Olympic effect' of the 2012 Games would raise the profile of horse sports and generate more interest in riding.
