Company Background

Part of the Masterfoods group, Royal Canin is an international manufacturer and distributor of premium dog and cat food products.

Business Need

Inline with a brand update, Royal Canin wanted to refresh the visual appearance of their existing Immediacy driven website, previously deployed, supported and maintained by Auros while at the same time updating the website features and implementing additional extranet functionality.

What Auros Did

Auros worked with Royal Canin’s brand and marketing teams to create a new design, convert these visual concepts into Immediacy templates and seamlessly deploy them across the existing public facing website and extranet with minimal downtime.

Auros’ responsibilities for the Royal Canin sites, developed over a 15 month period with continual repeat business, included:

Site audit and upgrade from Immediacy 5.2 to 5.3

Development of integration between website, extranet and Royal Canin’s back office and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems to allow Royal Canin customers (dog and cat breeders) and industry professionals to access account information online, which delivered a number of benefits including the ability for users to take advantage of the Royal Canin loyalty program.
