Le Valentines Day Les Brits Exigent Le Puppy-Love
When Valentines Day approaches, British pet insurance companies can be relied upon to remind us of the various vital roles that pets play in our lives romantique. For better or for worse an animal can bring two people together. Equally, says pet insurer Petguard, a partner's beloved puppy could lead to one being dumped, sans cérémonie, on the pavement.
The pet insurance provider found that 20% of dog owners would dump their partner for not getting on with their dog. The national survey of 3,000 dog owners also found that men were more likely to do the dumping than women.
Petguard says also that an average of 40% of those surveyed claimed to share their bed with their dog and that 55% of owners claimed to have a picture of their dog on their mobile phone screens or in their wallet. Over 60% of women and 44% of men admit to carrying a photo of their dog with them.
So be warned, chocolates and roses will no longer cut it when your Valentine has a four-legged companion in tow. Si vous voulez réaliser vos rêves, obtenir une queue!
